Theresa Traweek and Rebecca Boatman are fine arts professors at the Preston Ridge Campus. Professor Traweek teaches studio arts and Professor Boatman instructs art appreciation classes. Hope’s Door is a shelter in Plano which provides services to battered women, their children and abusers who desire to change. Collin College student organizations and service learning students are coming together to help this institution. Donations needed are gently used women, children’s and men’s clothes, shoes and accessories, as well as diapers and toiletries.
